The First Step is Always an ENT Clearance. Before any device is fitted, an ENT doctor must evaluate your child to determine if the hearing loss is conductive, sensorineural, or mixed. In many cases, childhood hearing issues (like fluid in the ear or grommet issues) can be resolved with medication or minor surgery.
